I love Christmas. I love the snow. I love the tree. I love the songs. 

 

I love it even though this year I’ll be spending it alone with only Tabby the cat and a good book for company.

 

At least, that’s the plan until I take my homeroom on a field trip to watch the Rockview Rebels. I may be utterly clueless about all things ice hockey and trying to hide my omega designation under a truck-load of suppressants, but that doesn’t stop me from catching the attention of Pack Ice.

 

Jack “Dynamo” Doyle – the star of the team, determined to win me over with his merciless charm.

 

Bud Andrews – the Rebels’ enforcer – built like a brick house but a total softie behind that steely facade.

 

Cal Moore – the newest recruit to the team and the pack – shy, sweet and a total book-nerd like me.

 

Cooper King – team captain – more grinchy than the Grinch and more scroogie than Ebenezer.

 

I moved to the city to start again. I’m not looking for love. I’m just hoping to survive my first year teaching and make it through this Christmas unscathed.

 

But those meddling Christmas elves must have other ideas. Pack Ice has their sights set on me. And it's a lot harder to hide what you are when four alphas have caught your scent.
